Foundation Kicks Off Capital Campaign

On January 4, the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation kicked off a four-year capital campaign during the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.’s annual Founders’ Day Celebration in Las Vegas. Foundation President Michael J. Dubose, accompanied by the Fraternity’s 34th Grand PolemarchRuben A. Shelton, III, Esq., announced the New Way ForwardCapital Campaign during the Closing Banquet. In an amazing show of support, Grand Polemarch Shelton contributed $100,000 from the Fraternity and encouraged brothers to support the capital campaign through their individual pledges and donations.

The mission of the “Building A New Way Forward for the Next Generation of Achievers” is to raise funds to permanently establish the existence of critical programs, maintain an effective and efficient infrastructure to manage our philanthropic impact in the African-American communities that we serve and to increase awareness of the importance of the Foundation’s work throughout the country.
