Foundation Board President Dubose Appointed to Boards for Watts Water Technologies and Florida A&M
Recently, Kappa Foundation Board President Michael J. DuBose was elected to the Board of Directors for Watts Water Technologies. In addition to this election, Dubose was appointed by the Board to serve as a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. “Mike brings to Watts a wealth of experience with respect to the healthcare marketplace, which is a significant target market for Watts, and commercial supply distribution,” said W. Craig Kissel, Chairman of the Watts Board. “We believe his knowledge and experience will enable him to provide valuable guidance with respect to operational excellence, solution sales, and talent development.”
President Dubose has served as President of the Fisher Healthcare Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. since March 2019. Thermo Fisher Scientific engages in the provision of analytical instruments, equipment, reagents and consumables, software and services for research, analysis, discovery, and diagnostics.
In addition, President Dubose was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees for Florida A&M University, his alma mater. Under his leadership, as part of the Just Project, Thermo Fisher donated $2.5 million in supplies and equipment to enable FAMU to set up a COVID-19 testing lab that will serve students, faculty, and staff from FAMU and Florida’s other three Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Bethune Cookman University, Edward Waters Colleges, and Florida Memorial University.
The Foundation congratulates President Dubose on these distinguished appointments.
