Undergraduate COVID-19 Relief Fund Created to Offer Assistance to Students in Need

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., via the Senior Kappa Affairs Endowment Fund, the National Silhouettes, and the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation have joined together to create the Undergraduate COVID-19 Relief Fund. The Fund’s purpose is to assist undergraduate Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi who truly need financial assistance to get them through these turbulent times. The grant awards will be based on need.

The Undergraduate COVID-19 Relief Fund is designed to offset some of the financial hardship due to the unprecedented impact of COVID-19. This includes, but is not limited to, housing, job loss, food insecurity, parent job loss, medical, or student loans.

Applications for this scholarship must be completed in its entirety using the appropriate form. The application must be submitted to Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. through the online submittal portal by the deadline. The first deadline will be June 24, 2020. If you have any questions about completing the application, please contact Trenton A. Nettles at tnettles@kappaalphapsi1911.com

It is projected that the Fund’s existing resources will assist approximately 15% of our Undergraduate membership. In order to help more students now, and when they return to school this fall, we are in need of your support.

From May 25-30, 2020, we are asking for your support of the Brothers for Brothers Week of Giving by helping us raise additional funds for the Undergraduate Relief Fund. Every dollar raised will go directly to our Undergraduates in need.
