Celebrating 40 Years of Uplifting Achievers
In 1981, members of Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity, Inc. sought a way to support young men in their life development. Through their desire to make an impact in the lives of youth and young adults, the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation was created.
Since our inception, the impact of the Foundation has been far-reaching. That success is due to the partnership with the Fraternity that has created successful programs such as Diamonds in the Rough, Kappa League, ULI/Lead Kappa, and others.
Your support of the Foundation has allowed our support of more than $2.4 million toward scholarship, contributions to community groups, and support of a variety of programs and events. Your donations have assisted in the rebuilding of communities devastated by natural disasters through the iKare Disaster Relief Fund. Your partnership empowers our young people in the cities where we live and serve. We thank you for making 40 years of uplifting achievers possible.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary, the Foundation is proud to introduce the 40 for 40 campaign. Through this campaign, we can continue to build our Foundation into a stronger, more viable entity that can accomplish its proclaimed mission of making it possible for our communities to produce a better quality of life for their youth and adults through education, training, and redevelopment.
The Foundation’s major commitment to change, envisions primarily, investment in our youth and our communities. Join us as we continue that commitment through your contribution as we recognize the Foundation’s 40 years of service, and counting. The campaign will run through January 31, 2022.
